Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level V to IV stated (CAP, BEP or high school diploma)
The profile they look for:
- Car driving licence (category B) at least.
- Understand written instructions and report on your work.
- Know how to use cleaning equipment (blowers, brooms, trolley).
- Physically fit to work outdoors.
- Rigour, public service mindset and initiative.
- Good people skills for teamwork and contact with residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 3 (Closes in 4 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer, at the address given in the offer. The offer also mentions applying on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Car driving licence (VL) needed at least.
- Outdoor work, on the ground.
- Benefits: bonus scheme, annual bonus, health and provident insurance contribution, COS.
