Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a public exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) is an entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how to sweep, wash and clear snow
- Know the safety rules for dangerous products
- Hold a driving licence
- Know the highway code
- Work well in a team, carefully and with a public service mindset
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 10 (Closes in 11 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor. The offer also lets you apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
