Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Know the basics of public space cleaning work
- Be able to read a map and find your way around
- Follow safety rules and procedures
- Physically fit for outdoor work
- Stay calm and polite with a sometimes difficult public
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time of 37 hours on a rotating schedule, with 11 RTT days
- Work about one Saturday in four, Sundays possible on a voluntary basis
- Start as soon as possible, post vacant from 01/01/2027
- Recruitment interview by panel on 4 December 2026 (morning)
