Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.

- Good physical stamina.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Public service mindset and professional discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application by email to the town's HR department, or by post to the town hall. The offer is listed on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Full-time job.
- Driving licence category B required; category EB or C would be a plus.
