Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The post is open to the adjoint technique grades, category C, and the entry grade can be filled without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how to clean by manual or mechanical sweeping and washing
- Know how to empty bins and clear snow from roads
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required, C licence wanted
- Be available, including for on-call duty and weekends
- Be responsible for cleanliness in your area
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- On-call duty possible, Sunday work and Saturday market duty with time off in lieu.
- Work clothes must be worn.
