Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence required.
- Know and apply safety rules and the highway code.
- Be skilled at driving vehicles or machines.
- Work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Be organised to keep to a schedule and deadlines.
- Health and safety training is a plus (PSC1, safe lifting, fire safety).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
