Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a competitive exam can be hired, as the grade is an entry grade in category C. People with a disability recognition (RQTH) can apply if the post is compatible with their situation.

The profile they look for:
- Skills in manual and mechanised public space cleaning.
- Skills in mechanised and manual snow clearing.
- Category C (heavy goods vehicle) licence required.
- Ability to act quickly in emergencies and enforce instructions.
- Team spirit, rigour, method and courtesy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours of 39 hours, Monday to Friday.
- Winter on-call duties, with possible activities on weekends and public holidays.
- End-of-year bonus and holiday bonus, subject to seniority conditions.
- Category C post, no remote work.
