Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the adjoint technique grades (category C), which allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Able to drive and operate different vehicles on public land
- Know safety, signage and road traffic rules
- Wear personal protective equipment every day
- Be rigorous and show initiative when things change
- Have good people skills and be available to residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the platform or send your application by post, addressed to the Mayor, at the town hall address.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Snow-clearing on-call duty in winter
- Weekly on-call duty possible on a rota
