Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade of category C: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class.

The profile they look for:
- CE driving licence, ideally FIMO or FCOS.
- Able to drive and manoeuvre cleaning vehicles.
- Knowledge of urban street cleaning techniques.
- Conscientious, careful, alert to safety.
- Good physical fitness, likes working outdoors.
- Some knowledge of mechanics.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
