Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the Adjoint technique grade (category C) allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know collection and transport procedures.
- Know safety rules and types of risk.
- Know types of waste, packaging and sorting rules.
- Know handling and safety authorisation techniques.
- Have basic communication skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
