Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced level.
The profile they look for:
- Similar successful experience, ideally in local government.
- Technical knowledge of street and garden cleaning.
- Able to use a street sweeper safely.
- Valid driving licence category B.
- Works well in a team and takes pride in good work.
- Able to show diplomacy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 21 (Closes in 19 days)
Send your application only by postal mail to the town hall of Le Cannet, for the attention of the Mayor. State the job title and offer number.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work is entirely outdoors.
- Remote work is not possible.
- A valid category B driving licence is required.
