Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Successful similar experience, ideally in a local authority.
- Technical knowledge of street cleaning (roads and gardens).
- Able to use a sweeper safely.
- Valid driving licence, category B.
- Able to work in a team and show diplomacy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 9 days)
Apply only by postal mail, addressed to the Mayor of the Le Cannet town hall. State the job title and offer number in your letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work is done only outdoors.
- A valid category B driving licence is required.
- The post is vacant from 01/04/2027.
