Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C (adjoint technique).

Experience: Similar experience wanted, ideally in a local council

- Technical knowledge of street cleaning work.
- Able to use a street sweeper safely.
- Valid driving licence, category B.
- Able to work as a team and take pride in good work.
- Able to show diplomacy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application only by postal mail to the town hall. State the job title and the offer number in your letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- A valid category B driving licence is required.

- Direct hiring possible without a competitive exam (category C).
