Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.

The profile they look for:
- Successful experience in a similar job, ideally in a local authority
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, ideally
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to adapt to different situations and people
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 4 (Closes in 6 days)
Send your application only by postal mail to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor. State the job title and offer number in your letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
