Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment. The job is also open to recognised disabled workers, through a contract.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Shift hours: 6am-2:40pm, and one week per school term 11:45am-8pm (except Friday 6am-2:45pm)
