Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP or CAP preferred (catering, premises hygiene, hygiene trades), not mandatory
The profile they look for:
- Know food hygiene rules and safety standards.
- Master basic cleaning and disinfection techniques.
- Master basic culinary production techniques.
- Follow oral and written instructions and protocols.
- Work well in a team and handle stress.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or send your application file to the city hall's recruitment and mobility service.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
