Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C does not require a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Category B and C driving licences required
- Valid HGV (PL) licence, essential
- CACES R482A wanted if possible
- AIPR operator certificate wanted if possible
- CAP or BEP level
- Punctuality, public service mindset and sense of priorities
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The category C licence is compulsory: without it, the application is not reviewed.
- Full time: 37h30 per week, 15 days of RTT and 5 days of special duties per year.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Health insurance, provident cover and meal vouchers offered.
