Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can also apply, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Category B and C driving licences required, with a valid HGV (PL) licence.
- CACES R482A if possible.
- AIPR operator certificate if possible.
- CAP or BEP level.
- Punctuality and a sense of public service.
- Good sense of priorities and ability to report back.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The category C driving licence is required. Without it, the application is rejected automatically.
- Full time of 37h30 per week, with 15 days of RTT leave and 5 days of special duty allowance.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Meal vouchers and contributions towards health insurance and income protection.
