Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired directly, without a competitive exam, for this entry-level category C grade.

The profile they look for:
- Work well in a team
- Know culinary techniques and food products
- Know and apply food hygiene and safety rules
- Follow ergonomic rules when lifting and handling
- Fill in management documents and the PMS plan
- Know how to use computer tools (labelling)
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
