Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant applies. The post is an entry-level category C grade, with no competitive exam needed.

The profile they look for:
- Able to work as part of a team
- Knows cooking techniques and food products
- Knows and applies food hygiene and safety rules
- Able to follow lifting and ergonomic rules
- Able to fill in management documents and the PMS plan
- Knows basic computer tools, for example for labelling
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
