Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. A contract worker can only be hired if no civil servant application succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate.
The profile they look for:
- Work well in a team and report to the head chef.
- Know cooking techniques and food products.
- Master food hygiene and safety rules.
- Follow ergonomic rules for lifting and handling.
- Fill in management documents and the PMS plan.
- Use computer tools, for example for labelling.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 21 days)
Click the Apply on the employer's site button on the offer page on Choisir le Service Public. You will be sent to the Department's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role.
- Category C (employee) post.
