Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly at this entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B required
- CACES R482 C1 required
- Mandatory training on waste safety rules
- First aid training
- Good health for handling loads and outdoor work
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, no remote work.
- Licences C and CE and CACES A, B1, C1, C2 and F are desirable.
- Vaccinations must be up to date (DTP polio, hepatitis B).
- Occasional work at the waste centre and works at the Berbiac landfill as needed.
