Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it. Disabled workers can also access the post by contract.

Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence (manual car) required
- Good knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Report damage found in the area to managers
- Independence, punctuality and reliability
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website or by email to the Royan town hall, with your application and CV. The deadline is 2 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post to be filled as soon as possible
- Weekend duty on a rota
- Outdoor work in all weather
- Category C licence appreciated but not required
