Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

- Good general knowledge and interest in literature
- Adapt to all kinds of public, including difficult users
- Sense of responsibility and public service
- Work well in a team, rigorous and methodical
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the human resources department of the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job vacant from 1 January 2027.
- A contract worker's contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
