Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because an entry grade of category C is open.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed experience.
The profile they look for:
- Experience in public libraries or training in book trades.
- Interest in mediation and animation, for all audiences.
- Good command of digital tools and curiosity about new technologies.
- Comfort with FabLab machines, or a strong wish to learn them.
- Autonomy, organisation, versatility and creativity.
- Sense of public service, welcoming people and serving users.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the Emploi territorial website, using the employer site button. Send your CV and cover letter addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time, on-site work only.
- Presence until 6:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 1 Saturday morning in 2.
- Occasional evening work for public reception duty or mediation activities.
- Regular handling: carrying loads and professional postures.
