The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of road works and road signage techniques.
- Management skills.
- Knowledge of individual and collective safety rules.
- Able to write quotes and estimate how long work will take.
- Driving licence B required; licence C and CACES R482 are a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Continuous daytime hours in summer, with duty shifts and on-call duties.
- Driving licence B is required.
