Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Qualifying training in the electrical field
Experience: Confirmed professional experience in the electrical field (confirmed level)
The profile they look for:
- Know safety rules and manual handling rules.
- Master the techniques of the different building trades.
- Have a qualifying training in electrical work.
- Hold electrical authorisations (habilitations électriques).
- Hold a driving licence, category B (required).
- Know the rules for public buildings (ERP); CACES appreciated.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
