Civil servants and contract workers can apply. An entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.

The profile they look for:
- Know the usual building maintenance techniques
- Understand a maintenance manual, a plan or an instruction
- Apply safety rules on sites, equipment and products
- Work on your own and organise your tasks
- Be rigorous, quick to react and available
- Driving licence category B required
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
