Civil servants in the adjoint technique grades can apply, as can competition winners. People who are not civil servants must first pass the recruitment tests run by the Region.

Experience: Significant experience in building maintenance for local authorities
The profile they look for:
- Significant experience in building maintenance for local authorities
- Good knowledge of electrical work, plumbing and floor coverings
- Good team spirit and organisation skills
- Able to work on your own
- Knowledge of how a high school works (a plus)
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Rotating schedule over 6 weeks, with on-call duty one week in three from 5:30 pm to 6 am
- No work at weekends or during school holidays, except planned duty days
- Remote work not possible
