Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the health, safety and hygiene rules at work.
- Electrical authorisations required.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Able to read 2D plans and technical notes.
- Expected qualities: versatile, independent, rigorous, punctual.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- High availability required, sometimes outside working hours.
- Use of aerial platforms and forklift after obtaining CACES certificates.
- Work mobile phone provided.
- Some technical tests may be done outside normal hours.
