Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired only if no civil servant applicant has succeeded. A person without a civil service exam can be hired at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP with a building specialty preferred
The profile they look for:
- Technical knowledge of building finishing work and maintenance
- Reading technical plans (electrical, plumbing)
- Basic computer skills, including the SIMG portal
- Correct lifting postures for carrying loads
- Organisation, method and rigour
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Work permits depending on tasks, for example CACES for work at height
