Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. French must be at an autonomous level.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level 1: mastery of basic skills.
The profile they look for:
- Good basic knowledge of several trades (electrical, plumbing, locksmith...).
- Know how to use maintenance equipment and tools.
- Show versatility and independence, and manage priorities.
- React quickly to emergencies.
- Have a public service mindset and good people skills.
- Autonomous level in French.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
