- Know how to use cleaning products safely.
- Know the sorting rules and safe lifting and posture habits.
- Manage your time well, with varied tasks across several sites.
- Be versatile, rigorous, independent, polite, discreet and punctual.
- Have a team spirit and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your application by post or email to the town hall, as stated in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C job, no management duties.
- May be asked to work at receptions (festivities, seminars) outside usual hours.
