Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or Bac Pro in building trades, or all trades
Experience: Beginners accepted; building maintenance experience is a plus
The profile they look for:
- CAP, BEP or Bac Pro in building trades, or all trades.
- Category B driving licence required.
- Electrical authorisations BS, BE Manœuvre and H0 required.
- Beginners accepted; building maintenance experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety rules and hygiene standards.
- Rigour, punctuality, teamwork and a public service mindset.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based at the Centre Technique Municipal, with daily travel around the town.
- Full time: 37h30 per week with 14 RTT days off.
- Technical on-call duties and overtime possible; category B driving licence required.
- No remote work possible.
