Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C. The job is open to workers with RQTH recognition.

Diploma: CAP or vocational bac in vehicle maintenance wanted

- A vocational certificate (CAP) or vocational bac in vehicle maintenance is wanted
- Knowledge of car mechanics (combustion, electrical, electronic)
- Skills in diagnosis and repair techniques
- Knowledge of safety rules and applicable regulations
- Driving licence category B is essential
- Rigour, independence, reactivity and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time: 37h30 per week, with RTT days off.
- Work in the workshop and outdoors, with heavy loads and products (oils, solvents, fuels).
- Benefits: CNAS, CET, lunch card, employer contribution to supplementary health cover.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn.
