Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is category C.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Housing provided (F3 flat) for service needs, with on-call duty.
- Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00-15:30 or 9:00-18:30, may change during school holidays (6:00-13:30).
- Driving licence B recommended.
