Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry category C grade allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence
- Electrical work authorisations
- Training in electricity, plumbing or heating
- Good knowledge of hygiene and safety rules
- Independence, responsiveness and ability to report back
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
