The profile they look for:
- Know manual weirs and be able to take part in operating them
- Experience in maintaining structures or infrastructure, ideally
- Driving licence B and 50-metre swimming certificate
- Know health and safety rules
- Use IT tools and write simple notes
- Rigour, autonomy, teamwork and versatility
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Outdoor work, including taking part in weir operations during floods and low water.
- Possible reinforcements on other sectors at the manager's request.
