Civil servants and contract agents can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because an entry-level category C grade allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in electrical, plumbing or building trades
Experience: At least 2 years
The profile they look for:
- At least two years of experience.
- CAP or BEP in electrical, plumbing or building trades.
- Solid knowledge of building trades.
- Autonomy, initiative and teamwork.
- Strict respect of safety rules and wearing protective equipment.
- Physical fitness for working at height and lifting heavy loads.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
