Civil servants in the adjoint technique grades and contract agents can apply. A contract agent can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B essential.
- Training or experience in home care or catering appreciated.
- Knowledge of food hygiene rules (HACCP) desired.
- Comfortable with common computer tools.
- Good people skills, empathy and patience.
- Public service spirit and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Bank holidays worked, except those falling on a Sunday.
- Shared service vehicle and work phone provided.
- Lifting and long periods standing; protective equipment mandatory.
