Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of animal care and working with animals.
- Basic teaching skills to run workshops and groups.
- Able to work with all kinds of people, including children.
- Car driving licence (permis VL) essential.
- Independent, versatile and observant.
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Car driving licence (permis VL) essential.
- Outdoor work in all seasons, with animals.
- Must be available on weekends and public holidays.
- Strict working hours.
