Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible for the technical assistant grades. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant has applied.

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Skills in textile cleaning and care techniques.
- Knowledge of hygiene, health and safety rules.
- Urban driving and eco-driving.
- Rigorous, methodical and a good team player.
- Able to lift loads and wear uniform and personal protective equipment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Work outside usual hours may be needed (on-call duty, events, winter road care).
