2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer site linked in the offer. A copy of your application must also be sent to the prefecture's functional recruitment mailbox, with the job title in the subject line.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Takes part in removal on-call duty on weekends and public holidays, in turn.
- Post eligible for a 5-point NBI bonus and a 12,000 euro territorial retention bonus, paid in instalments after 5 years of continuous service.
- No remote work possible; work under tight deadlines.
- Shared office with the team it supports.
