Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Training in accounting, with public accounting knowledge, or similar experience
Experience: At least 2 years in a local authority, experienced level
The profile they look for:
- Training in public accounting or similar experience of at least 2 years in a local authority.
- Knowledge of budget and accounting rules M57 and M49.
- Skill with the Civil Net finances software.
- Skill with office software (Office suite).
- Ability to work in a team, with rigour and autonomy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
