Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The adjoint technique grade is an entry-level category C grade, so a person without a civil service exam can be hired.

The profile they look for:
- Know sorting rules and the types of waste.
- Know hazardous waste and safety rules.
- Hold or obtain authorisation to handle and store waste.
- Know weighing and composting techniques.
- Know the site rules and internal regulations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
