Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Level stated as "Expert", duration not given.
The profile they look for:
- Know the types of waste and sorting routes.
- Be able to spot dangerous waste and its risks.
- Apply health and safety rules.
- Have a sense of public service and good contact with people.
- Stay calm in difficult situations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 16 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your application by post to the President of the SMICTOM des Flandres.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
