- Practical skills and technical ability for field work.
- Conscientious, rigorous and organised.

- Knowledge of sorting rules and hazardous waste.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- 35 hours per week, spread over 4 days.
- Outdoor work, standing for long periods and lifting loads.
- Risk of contact with hazardous materials. Protective equipment is mandatory.
- Regular hours. Category C grade.
