Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, at the adjoint technique grade.

The profile they look for:
- Know sorting rules and hazardous waste
- Know site rules and traffic instructions
- Handle and store waste safely
- Know recovery and treatment channels
- Heavy goods licence and CACES R.482 wanted
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor job, often alone, with Saturday work
- No remote work possible
- CACES R.482 and heavy goods licence are wanted
- Protective equipment must be worn and is provided by the employer
