Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly at this category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Thorough knowledge of site rules and safety instructions.
- Knowledge of waste rules and personal protective equipment.
- Knowledge of waste treatment techniques.
- Ability to technically assess the work of site operators.
- Teamwork and reporting problems to the manager.
- Friendly, calm and patient with users.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 15 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
