Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Kitchen assistant or packer, at least 2 years.
The profile they look for:
- Know the HACCP method.
- Master hygiene and safety rules in mass catering.
- Be in good health, with no back or leg problems.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be energetic and able to react to unexpected events.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 24 (Closes in 26 days)
Apply using the employer site button on the official offer page. The application must be sent to the Mayor by email to the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours between 7am and 5pm depending on the schedule, for 35 hours per week.
- Work in cold areas (3° to 12°) during food portioning.
- Protective equipment must be worn, including safety shoes.
- No overtime planned at this time.
